Description:
This book is dedicated to the bright memory of Togliatti grandmaster Ivan Bukavshin, who in just 20 years of his life managed to leave a bright mark in the world history of chess. Practically everything in youth chess was resigned to him, only in the individual competition Ivan won more than twenty medals of the championships of Russia, Europe and the world. No less successful were the team performances, in which Bukavshin helped the Russian youth team many times to win prizes at prestigious international competitions. In the men's competitions, the Togliatti grandmaster managed to win the final of the Russian Cup, take part in the Super Finals of the Russian Championship and the World Cup, become the winner and prize winner of dozens of major international tournaments.
The author of the book, international grandmaster Jacob Geller, who for many years was one of the trainers of Ivan, talks in detail about the chess path of his ward, his main tournament victories and creative achievements. The chess part of the book is represented by Bukavshin's games, in which the reader will find interesting opening pieces, beautiful combination attacks and finely held endgames. All batches are commented in detail by Ivan’s colleagues in the grand master workshop & ndash; his friends, rivals, seconds and coaches. & nbsp;
